im sure everyone imagines winning the lotto...and im not talking about winning a few dollars on a scratch off...im talking about winning millions...and if you say that its never crossed your mind i would say that youre lying!!...haha!...its something i think about all the time...millions upon millions of dollars...what would you do with it all?!?...here's what i would do...(warning: the first few are more practical and not that exciting...but then ill get to the good stuff...no worries)
1) QUIT MY JOB!!!!!!! yeah, im def not one of those who would keep my job...id give my two weeks and be out of that place so fast they wont know what hit em!
2) GET OUT OF DEBT...directly after saying peace out at work, i would pay off all my credit cards, my car, my student loans...pay off everything i can including the house...and i would do the same for everyone in my family and all my friends...not having to pay credit card bills or loans or mortgages or whatever every month would take a huge weight off of anyones shoulders...
3) COLLEGE FUNDS...i would set them up for my nephew, 2 small cousins, and my little bff...going to college is super important and if i could make it easy for them to go anywhere they want without needing student loans it would start them off on the right foot...and if youre wonding why i need to set up a fund instead of just give it to them when they need it, well the answer is easy...its possible to blow all the money...so if its set aside for them, they would be guaranteed to have it...
4) CARS!!!...i already have a car that i love so i wouldnt need a new one for everyday driving...but i think i would buy some type of convertible for crusin around the shore in the summer...i would also get my sisters and parents new cars...what ever kind they want!...
5) HOUSE...i know this sounds silly but i dont think i would move out of my current house...but i would def upgrade it...i would redo the kitchen however my mom wants...i would also redo all the bathrooms...i would def make my bathroom bigger...i want a huge shower with a bench and the rain and the jets that come out from the side...and i want a separate tub...a really big hot tub, tub...and perhaps a separate toilet area...thats it for the bathrooms but not for upgrades to the house...i would put a full addition on to the house over the garage and the family room...and i have many ideas for all this space...i want a craft room there...complete with everything from paints to sharpees to construction paper to card stock to tape to glue to rhinestones to glitter and anything else you can think of...it will be fabulous!...i also want a movie theater room up there...giant screen tv...surround sound...full recliners...blankets and pillows...popcorn machine...kitchenete...plenty of storage for my huge movie collection...and on the door to this room will be my bsbcruise2010 door dec!...haha!!!...there would also be room for a guest room and another bathroom...and hopefully a storage room to put all my stuff thats overflowing from my room...oh! lets call it a walk in closet and attach it to my bathroom!...yeah that sounds good!...haha!!!
6) SHORE HOUSE!...theres no way that we can give up the prime location we have now...but what we can do it knock it down and build it up!...ill leave the specs to f.u.n and bubbles on that one cause it is there house after all...but i know it will be awesome!!!!
7) WEDDINGS!....if i won within the year i would 100% pay for the princess' wedding...and i would pay for everyone's flight and room!...i would also put plenty aside so little sis and i can have awesome extravagant weddings of our own...i would pull out all the stops, hire david tutera and have the best wedding EVER!!!!!...and if i dont get married i'll throw myself a giant birthday bash!!!!!
8) VACATION!!!!...since i would quit my job i really wouldnt have to many time constraints...and money wouldnt be an issue...so why not go on lots of vacations traveling first class only!!!...i would go on a cruise to alaska...i would go on a disney cruise (on the new ship, not the old ones)...i would go to disney world...i would go to italy...i would make it a point to go to every state...i would go to croatia...and i think thats about it...i guess the places i want to go is pretty short...oh well...
9) OPEN A DANCE STUDIO!!!!...this one is the most important to me because its my dream...and in real life if money wasnt an issue i would already have one...with unlimited funds i could really make my studio state of the art...top of the line floors...sound proof walls...best of the best stereo and sound system...floor to ceiling mirrors...adjustable ballet barres...wi-fi and tvs in the waiting room...a study room for students to do their homework between class...a locker room like bathroom (it would be nice to be able to shower after class before going out...dont you think?!)...it would be perfect...just the way i imagine it to be!!!...
oh my gosh...now im super excited!...i cant wait until i hit a mega jackpot!!!...haha!!! so what would you want from me if i won? or what would you get for yourself if you won millions upon millions??? dont be shy! let me know!!!

holding on
hey kiddies!
before we get into the goods i just want to say that one of my new years resolutions is to write in my handy dandy blog more...umm so far i am failing miserably...haha...this is only post number 2 for the year and its already february...i better step up my game...dont worry i have lots of things brewing in my head...so they will come out sooner rather than later...but i make no promises!...haha!...well lets get on with it shall we...
i have realized that i hold on to way too much stuff...and while i am a borderline hoarder, im not talking about physical things...im talking about ideas and emotions and all that good stuff...so for the sake of this entry lets focus on what i focus on best...boys of course!...haha!...
its no secret that i want more than anything to find a boyfriend but i have an extremely difficult time doing so...i think part of the problem is that i have a hard time letting go...i start crushing on a guy and thats it...its gotta be him or no one...and its not like i like a guy for a short amount of time...for instance i crushed on the same boy from 2nd grade until 8th grade...thats 7 years people...see not short...well i guess the crush on new guy didnt last too long but the guy moved to hawaii and i went on for months still crushin...thats a problem...
even now with concert guy...my brain is 100% confident that there is absolutely no way he sees me as anything more than a friend...and yet i cant let go...i over analyze everything hes ever said to me trying to search for a hidden meaning that isnt there...i just cant give up on the glimmer of hope...ya know...for a while i was even contemplating telling him how i felt...but for what?...for him to tell me something that i already know?...or to completely destroy the little bit of friendship i have left with him?...or to be rejected yet again?...i dont think i could handle it...its really not worth it...but i was stuck...trying to move forward but making very little progress because i wasnt willing to give up...
then out of the blue i received a text from him...and my very little progress flew right out the window...haha!...the butterflies came rushing back...i was so excited...my imagination ran wild with all the things it could possibly say...all it said was that he was gonna take the train in the morning...so of course i got myself all hyped up to see him again...and of course i played out a million different scenarios in my head of what could happen...and each one was more fabulous than the last...unfortunately reality never lives up to the fantasy...when i actually saw him it was slightly awkward...i wasnt really sure what to say...suddenly everything i thought about saying seemed so stupid...but what actually came out of my mouth was even worse...ugh...haha!...so now after that i know i have to let go of him and look for someone completely new...im still holding on a little...but now its by a pinkie finger instead of a full on 2 hand death grip...haha!!!
if i really want to find a man then there is one more thing i need to let go of...i need to let go of the idea i have in my head that "how could anyone possibly love me"...i know its terrible to think but i do...and its not something i like to admit that i think but i do...its always there lingering in the back of my mind...i really really need to let go of that thought...and once i do that i will truly be able to move one...but until that day im stuck...but i wont give up!!!
sorry to be on the woe is me side tonight but sometimes i just need to get these things off my chest ya know...it helps me feel better...and itsnt that part of the reason for blogging?!...well im off...maybe ill watch some boy meets world tonight...that always makes me happy!!! =)

BSB Cruise 2010 (day four)
day four was our day at sea...but more importantly it was meet and great day!!!!! aaaaaahhhhhh!!!! lets get right to it shall we...
getting ready:
our meet and greet/picture time was 1:15...when little sis and i woke up we checked the tv and the time said 11:30...(please note that we were checking the time in the hallway but then one of our new friends said why dont you just check the time on the tv...i cant believe we didnt think of that...its so easy...haha!)...we decided to skip breakfast so we would have enough time to look fabulous for our boys...and less than 2 hours really wasnt a ton of time...haha...so we were ready and out the door around 1245 and went to meet our group members...(we needed to have groups of 8...and ps the girls in our group are awesome!)...none of them were ready...this concerned me slightly...i knew we still had a half hour but to still have wet hair? i was shocked...haha...since no one else was ready we decided to meet everyone there...we went to see what the line was like and we couldnt believe how long it was but this point it was after 1 and everyone on line was in group one which started at noon...while we were looking at the line we saw our dinner friends waiting...(they were in group 1 and we were in group 2 so thats why we couldnt go together)...we said something about the time and how late it was and they said no its only noon now...wait what?!?...are you kidding me?!?...we were an hour off the whole time!...and all because we strayed from our hallway method of telling time...(apparently just turning on the tv wasnt good enough...we had to go to the guide channel for the right time)...haha!!!...after this discovery we ran into our cool neighbors (who we totally conviced the time was later than it really was...oops)...since we had a whole extra hour we went to eat lunch...oh boy...sorry for such a long getting ready story but i thought it was pretty funny!...haha!!! =)
meet and greet:
honestly this was such a blur...it felt like one second i was standing on the line waiting to meet my boys and the next second it was over...sadly no one was allowed hugs...handshakes only...booo! i wanted a hug!...but a handshake is better than nothing...i mean i touched them! and thats all i can ask for...*squeel!!!!*...so when it was our turn we went up on the little stage they had set up...little sis was infront of me and she introduced herself to brian...he was a little confused cause 3 girls in our group had the same name (little sis included!)...so i followed suit and introduced myself to him and said "hi im ashley, its not the same as everyone else...*giggle*!"...i think (and i say think because i was in such a state of shock its hard to remember the details) he laughed as well and said nice to meet you ashley...next down the line was howie and then nick...i have absolutly no idea what i said to either of them so i couldnt tell you...even if you paid me a millions dollars!!!...haha!...then we were rushed into the picture...and i smiled my best!...im not gonna lie i totally practiced my smile in the mirror earlier that day....haha!!!...then as we were leaving i got to shake aj's hand...i think i said thank you...and he said something about enjoying the show later!...at that moment my dreams of meeting the backstreet boys finally came true!!!...words really cant describe how amazing it was...i know it lasted for about 2 minutes but it was so worth it!!!
down time:
we had a ton of time in between the meet and greet and the concert...little sis and i wanted to watch the jets game...but it wasnt playing on the boat...so we decided to go back to our rooms and back our bags...then we just strolled around the ship for a while...we ran into our super cool neighbors so we stopped to chat...and then we realized they were sitting right next to brian!! eek!!...so of course we stayed there for a while...haha!...then some more girls from our photo group spotted us and stopped to chat...we didnt want to be to obvious standing around watching brian so we left with the girls from our group...we brought them on the door dec grand tour...starting with our door and then we went to the winner and other doors that were mentioned...while we were on deck 7 durring our tour we saw a whole bunch of girls just standing around...so we went to investigate...just as we got over there howie walked by!!! the other 3 followed not too long after him...that was exciting cause i was def not expecting to see them at that moment!...so after that it was time to finish packing, take down our door(so sad!),and get ready for our last dinner...
dinner time:
we didnt sit at our normal table bacause it was already taken...but we did sit in the same area...the most exciting thing that happened was our friend from alabama got a picture with howie as he was leaving...of course i wish it was me but i was happy for her!!!...
concert:
the boys put on a full scale production of the this is us tour...really the only difference was that they didnt have the dancers with them...oh and some guy got up on stage after one of the songs and proposed to his girlfriend!...again i wish it was me...haha!...oh my god...imagine?!...haha!...if you want to read my complete thoughts on the this is us tour ill post the link at the bottom...so yeah...it was pretty awesome!!!

umm yeah...this was ummm...okay...i guess...so lets rewind a smidge...the deck party started off like the rest of them...the music was great and the crowd was pumped...everyone was in black and blue...which looked soo cool!...but the problem was that it was a tad chilly outside and super windy...the boys came out (yay!) but quickly said "lets move the party inside" (boo!)...before they even finished the sentence girls were running towards the club...so now about 2000 girls were trying to get into a club that held maybe two...three hundred at the most!...(oh the anxiety!)...little sis and i made our way down there and waited around for maybe a half hour...we realized it was highly unlikely that we would get in...so we admited defeat and went back to our cabin...it just stinks that this was the last night and we got such a dissapointing send off...i know there is nothing anyone can do about the weather...i just wish they had a better back up plan...ya know?...well whats done is done...
bonus (day 5):
it was time to go home...awww...so sad....but overall our trip was AMAZING!!!...it landed in the number one spot in my top 10 of 10 list!!!...i couldnt have asked for a better cruise...it blew my expectations out of the water!!...but the icing on the cake happened at the airport while i was waiting for my plane...(no, i didnt meet any of them so its not at that level of excitment but it was pretty cool)...i tweeted the backstreet boys to say thank you for the cruise and all that jazz...AND THEY RETWEETED ME!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!....haha!!...see like i said not as exciting as a siting but still pretty cool...right?!?...well i thought it was!!!...yay!!!

top 10 of the year 10
i know i know...i owe you days 2, 3, and 4 of my cruise recap...i promise you will have them soon...the problem is i like to blog on the train...those entries are too long to finish on the train...so i hit save so i can come back later...but they only save to the blogger website and not to my phone...so to finish them i have to sit at my computer...but after sitting in front of a computer all day its not always the first thing i want to do when i get home...ya know...sorry for the long rambling...i just dont want any one to be upset...haha!...
so the purpose of this blog is to put a nice little bow on the end of the year that was 2010...and instead of recapping the whole year i decided to make a top 10 list!!!...enjoy!!!
10) lifehouse / kris allen concert
i had a ball with k dubbs at this concert....kris allen was WAY more entertaining than i thought he would be...at one point he asked everyone to sing along, then said but you dont have to if you dont want to i mean you paid money to see me sing not to sing yourself...haha...so cute!...and he came out in the audience for one of the songs...he was really great...as for lifehouse they were awesome too...i really love their music!!!...this was probably the best non bsb concert i have ever been to!...
9) becoming a TCU fan!!!
this makes the list because of its randomness and awesomeness...i was in atlantic city for a bsb concert in june which happened to be the same day as the usa vs england world cup match...since little one is a huge soccer fan she couldnt miss it (ps she was rooting for england...talk about anti american...haha)...anyway...we went to a sports bar to watch it...we were there way before the game started so they randomly had college baseball on the tvs...we had no idea who was playing...orange vs purple...of course i picked the purple team to root for...and it didnt hurt that they were loosing by about 10 runs so they had that whole underdog thing going for them...haha...as we watched we learned more and more about the teams playing...thats when k dubbs and i decided we would be horned frog fans for life!!!...good thing we did...they made it to the last round before the championships of the college world series...and now the football team is going to be in the rose bowl!...and to top it off they are going to be part of the big east...which means we'll be able to go to some games!...haha!...see i told you...random! =)
8) fantasy football champion!
yeah thats right! i won!!!! im so proud of myself!!! my rookie season and i pull off the big upset in the super bowl!!! yay!!! aaron rodgers and arian foster are my heroes!!!
7)Hemingway's
one night towards the end of the summer i went out with my cousins and their friends to Hemingway's in seaside...the night doesnt make the list because of Hemingway's but because of everything else that occurred that night...everything from all the boy meets world quotes...to finding the undapants video on YouTube...to the "lottery tickets"...to the cheese balls...to "maybe if you didnt walk like this"...to trying to go to sleep but being unsuccessful due to laughing too hard...it was just a really fun night!!!...and if you were there youre probably laughing right now just thinking about it!...
6) friday night ice cream
i went dts most weekends this summer...the best part about it was friday night ice cream...as soon as i got down there after work i threw sweats on grabbed my girls and strolled to summer sweets!...my ice cream of choice was cake batter in a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles...omg im salivating just thinking about it...soo good....but it wasnt just about the ice cream...it was about taking a stroll with k dubbs and little one...it was the perfect way to unwind after working all week...
5) officially meeting concert guy
i know that my friendship with him never went further than just friends but im okay with that...and im so glad that arti made us go over to him and introduce ourselves...ive had a lot of good times with him...all of which are well document on this blog (feel free to read the archives...just click on concert guy to the right and they should all come up)...haha...i also think that it was a big step for me in the grand scheme of life...

10) lifehouse / kris allen concert
i had a ball with k dubbs at this concert....kris allen was WAY more entertaining than i thought he would be...at one point he asked everyone to sing along, then said but you dont have to if you dont want to i mean you paid money to see me sing not to sing yourself...haha...so cute!...and he came out in the audience for one of the songs...he was really great...as for lifehouse they were awesome too...i really love their music!!!...this was probably the best non bsb concert i have ever been to!...
9) becoming a TCU fan!!!
this makes the list because of its randomness and awesomeness...i was in atlantic city for a bsb concert in june which happened to be the same day as the usa vs england world cup match...since little one is a huge soccer fan she couldnt miss it (ps she was rooting for england...talk about anti american...haha)...anyway...we went to a sports bar to watch it...we were there way before the game started so they randomly had college baseball on the tvs...we had no idea who was playing...orange vs purple...of course i picked the purple team to root for...and it didnt hurt that they were loosing by about 10 runs so they had that whole underdog thing going for them...haha...as we watched we learned more and more about the teams playing...thats when k dubbs and i decided we would be horned frog fans for life!!!...good thing we did...they made it to the last round before the championships of the college world series...and now the football team is going to be in the rose bowl!...and to top it off they are going to be part of the big east...which means we'll be able to go to some games!...haha!...see i told you...random! =)
8) fantasy football champion!
yeah thats right! i won!!!! im so proud of myself!!! my rookie season and i pull off the big upset in the super bowl!!! yay!!! aaron rodgers and arian foster are my heroes!!!
7)Hemingway's
one night towards the end of the summer i went out with my cousins and their friends to Hemingway's in seaside...the night doesnt make the list because of Hemingway's but because of everything else that occurred that night...everything from all the boy meets world quotes...to finding the undapants video on YouTube...to the "lottery tickets"...to the cheese balls...to "maybe if you didnt walk like this"...to trying to go to sleep but being unsuccessful due to laughing too hard...it was just a really fun night!!!...and if you were there youre probably laughing right now just thinking about it!...
6) friday night ice cream
i went dts most weekends this summer...the best part about it was friday night ice cream...as soon as i got down there after work i threw sweats on grabbed my girls and strolled to summer sweets!...my ice cream of choice was cake batter in a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles...omg im salivating just thinking about it...soo good....but it wasnt just about the ice cream...it was about taking a stroll with k dubbs and little one...it was the perfect way to unwind after working all week...
5) officially meeting concert guy
i know that my friendship with him never went further than just friends but im okay with that...and im so glad that arti made us go over to him and introduce ourselves...ive had a lot of good times with him...all of which are well document on this blog (feel free to read the archives...just click on concert guy to the right and they should all come up)...haha...i also think that it was a big step for me in the grand scheme of life...

BSB Cruise 2010 (day three)
welcome to beautiful cozumel mexico! this is where the tide brought us on day three!!!beach party:
unfortunately little sis and i did not attend this shin dig...i heard it was tons of fun...it cost extra and since i was already paying for the cruise itself for me and little sis i really couldnt afford to buy both of us tickets to the party...so sad right...oh well...instead we stayed on the boat...checked out some more doors...played in a mini golf tourney (which i totally won...i have a golden ship on a stick to prove it!)...chatted with a super hott guy...and just relaxed
...in hind sight we should have gotten off the boat and strolled around the shops and stuff but we didnt and whats done is done...(but then again we wouldnt have met that guy...omg he was so hott!!...sorry but i cant get over it...haha!)dinner:
we sat with our friends from alabama again at the same table...tonight we saw brian come in...everyone said hi brian...so he said "hi, i dont know all of your names but hi!"...and then his son walked by wearing a sombrero...so i said hey i like your hat...so he said "my cousins are making me wear it"...so cute!!!...other than that dinner was uneventful...
door dec winner announcement:
we took our seat in the theater...i was super nervous...i thought we had an excellent chance of winning!...if we didnt win i thought for sure we would get a shout out...of course i thought my door was the best...it was my blood, sweat and tears after all...(and yes all three of those occurred...in the form of paper cuts...over three hours spent just on winding ribbon...and the mini melt down i had when a piece was ruined...haha!!!).
..but all the positive feedback we had from everyone on the ship is what really made me believe i could pull out the win! (even the hott guy loved it...he said "your attention to detail is really phenomenal"...haha!)...so they started calling out doors and they didnt say ours...so we were thinking omg the winner has to be us...i was shaking i was so nervous...i couldnt handle it anymore...the they said the winner.
..and it wasnt us....(can i get a collective aaaawwww???)...i was in such a whirl wind of emotion then...i went from super excited...to nervous...to deflated...to angry...to sad...back to angry...the worst part about the whole thing is the winning door want even that good...it had a locker (which was cool) and the rest was just old magazine covers and posters and stuff...if i knew all i had to do to win was slap some posters on the door it would have saved me a lot of time, money, and effort...there were sooo many deserving doors...(heres the winner and a two of my faves)...after calming down i realized that even though we didnt win it still meant a lot to me that everyone we talked to seemed to like it...and what matters the most is that i LOVED it!!!...to be honest i have no idea how to top it for next year...shinning star karaoke:
this may have been the best of all the scheduled events...the boys made us feel like we were just hanging out with them...a little karaoke with some friends...nbd!...haha!!!...it was sooo much fun!!!...some of the highlights were: 10,000 promises (nick was giving the girl pointers on being super dramatic while singing...very funny)...shape of my heart (this girl was so good! at the end aj said someone get this girl a record deal...and she was sitting by us so after she sand you could tell that it truly meant the world to her being on the stage singing with the boys)...like a virgin (aj and his bff madonna mark sang this little gem)...living on a prayer and dont stop believin' (always fun sing along songs!!)...bust a move (the boys sang this one!! eeek!!)...and by
far the BEST of the night was baby got back (omg...words cant describe how awesome it was...you have to check it out on YouTube!!!!)...i know i dont have links to all of them but i would highly suggest heading over to youtube and doing a quick search...you will def be entertained...i promise!!!....now the question is how does one top baby got back??? do you sing something similar like rappers delight?...or do you sing something completely different like proud mary????....so what do you think should i start practicing a hip hop a hippy to the hippy to the hip hip hop...OR rollin rollin rollin on the river?!?!?....oh the choices...haha!!!well thats it for now folks...ill be back with day 4 shortly but until then please check out days one and two...and as always dont be afraid to leave me some love... <3>

BSB Cruise 2010 (day two)
heeyyy!!! whats up bloggers?!? im back and its time to talk about day 2 of the fabulous backstreet boys cruise!!! sorry its taking me soo long...
key west:
the ship was docked in key west from early in the morning until about 2 i think...little sis and i didnt wake up too early so after we got ready and ate breakfast and all that jazz it was already after 11...we got off the boat and had to take a trolley into town...we didnt do much there except stroll around and take a few pictures...oh and we got a super cut ornament for our christmas tree!!!...the guy must have seen our wristbands and said i 
can put "backstreet boys cruise 2010" and your names on the ship...so i said "omg! really?! i must have it!!!"...haha!!!....you know its gonna be front and center on the tree this year thats for sure!!!...so after we made the purchase we headed back to the ship...
this is us Q&A:
i really enjoyed this...it was just 2+ hours of the boys answering our questions...they gave a lot of good answers...nothing juicy or gossipy (which would have been awesome) but all genuine!...lets see i dont remember all the questions but ill share some highlights...

do you ever forget the lyrics to your songs? capitan's dinner:
when we got to the dinning room we were sat at a 6 person table...2 of the people didnt speak english so we didnt talk to them...but we did start chatting with the lovely married couple from alabama (gabby and charles) at the table...obviously we talked about bsb...somehow it came up that we saw howie at charlotte airport last year (which you can read about here)...so gabby said was it after gravediggers ball? we went to that!..so i said yeah it was...so she said we were standing in 
the front to the right...i said no way! we were standing the the front to the right...they said we were standing next to a girl with pig tails and a flannel shirt...i said i was wearing pig tails and a flannel shirt!!!!...they said no, it couldnt have been you, this girl went to london to see bsb...i said yeah! that was me!!!....so how crazy is that??? they are from alabama and we are from jersey...we randomly met in north carolina...and then were randomly sat with each other at dinner in the middle of the ocean!...crazy! right?!?...masquerade night:
this was a fun night...everyone had beautiful masks...i liked my mask and the design i painted on it but i wish i added feathers and stuff and cut the eye holes bigger...it was hard to see out of so i had to take it off...oh well its too late now...anyway back to the party!!!...they played a lot of bsb songs...and nick played some of his new songs...which i LOVE...they are way different from the songs on his first album but they are soo good!!!...AND the highlight of the night was when they played a sample of the NEW nkotBSB song...LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!...i cant wait for it to be all over the radio...its gonna be huge!!!...
after the party we went back to our room...turned on channel 36...and went to sleep

BSB Cruise 2010 (day one)
so lets start off by saying AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! did the cruise really just happen?!?...im still in a little bit of shock...haha!...okay so now that that's out of the way lets get down to business....
i was lucky enough to be a part of bsbcruise2010...and it was AMAZING!!!...a lot happened over the course of the trip and i want to share all the highs and lows and everything in between without missing any details...so i decided it would be best to break it up a little...=)
embarkation:
little sis and i arrived in miami on wednesday night to guarantee that there would be no problems with flights on thursday morning...if i missed the boat im not really sure what would have happened but i know i would have been devastated...
we got to the port around 11:30 or so on thursday morning...checked in and got on the boat...since we couldnt go to our room until 1:30, we had some time to kill...so just like everyone else we went over to the buffet with all of our carry ons...we settled down at a table...i looked over to the left and there was AJ sitting 2 tables away from us!!!....(eeekkk!!!)...then i got up to grab something to eat...as i was walking towards the buffet line HOWIE walked right by me!....(eeekkk!!!)...after i got my food i headed back to the table and saw BRIAN eating lunch with his family...(more squealing!! haha!!)...so within about 20 minutes i already saw 3 of the 4 backstreet boys just strollin around...and from that moment i knew that it was going to be a great trip!!!...
door dec:
at 1:30 little sis and i were finally able to get to our room and start working on decorating our door...it took a few hours to get it 100% completed but it was worth every minute and it came out sooo good!!! (for now ill put up the pic i took on my phone but hopefully i can put one from my camera)...please stay tuned for the results...ill post them on day 3...
everybody feud:
this was the first official event held in the theater...we had assigned seats for everything in the theater...too bad our seats were in the very last row all the way at the top...ugh...oh well at least we were there!...
this game show was just like family feud...which happens to be my favorite game show ever!...and its totally one of my goals in life to be a contestant...haha!...so i was super excited to see how it would turn out...of course i wanted to participate and say things like "good answer! good answer!" but was i so lucky? of course not...i was not one of the "randomly" selected backstreet girls...which btw none of them were very entertaining...i would have been way better up there...but whatever...
the game proceeded to be just like the real family fued only way better!...the people surveyed were the fans on the boat...and all the question had to do with the backstreet boys...NICK had no idea how to pay...BRIAN was play fighting with the other team...HOWIE couldnt believe that the fans thought he wore speedos...and AJ loved that the fans thought he would be a porn star if he wasnt a backstreet boy...in the end the backstreet girls won and got a tote bag filled with signed stuff...
she's a dream dating game:
just like the real dating game complete with cheesy 70's backdrop...for each guy 3 girls were "randomly" selected...we found out that if you won, not only would you have the satisfaction of winning but you would also get to go up on stage durring sunday's concert...how cool is that?!?...
AJ was up first...one of the questions was do your best bsb choreo...the second girl did everybody...but the other 2 girls just danced...this is the moment i wished i was up there the most because i would have done larger than life...everything from the stomp clapping part...to the robot part...to the chorus everyone knows...the crowd would have gone wild and i def would have won...haha!!!...i dont remember the other questions but in the end girl number 3 won!
last but not least was NICK...brian made his way back onto the stage for this one too...but this time he sat down next to girl number 3 giving her answers to nicks questions...one of the questions was "if you were an alien who would you abduct and why? but you can say any of the backstreet boys"...i dont remember what the girls said but i know my answer: the male cast of the vampire diaries...everyone not just damon and stephan but i want tyler and matt and jeremy and alaric and uncle mason and even uncle john...if you watch the show or not you have to admit that those boys are hott!!...well im not here to talk about tvd im here to talk about bsb so back to the game...making it a clean sweep, nick picked girl number 3...lol... = )

USA!...it was clear that the boys are popular all over the world...there were girls from japan, Australia, Brazil, Netherlands, England, Ireland, Argentina, Portugal, Canada, USA, and many more!!!...i loved seeing everyone's native costumes...the boys were festive too...AJ wore a kilt...NICK wore some sort of Japanese jacket...HOWIE represented puerto rico...and BRIAN wore an uncle same costume and his wife had a matching girl version of it...they looked amazing...brian and leighanne Had the BEST costumes of the night!!!...the boys were up on the higher deck on a stage type thing...they were awesome...AJ was an excellent host and revealed his new found love of "friends"...ummm i love friends!!!...haha...he went on to poll the 
crowd on which friend we thought they were...aj = joey...brian = chandler...howie = ross...and nick = phoebe...haha...when aj told nick about this he had no idea who phoebe was...so once again nick was clueless on simple pop culture reference...oh boy...lets see what else happened...they tried to come into the crowd but that didnt really work out too well...they were def mobbed...i wish some girls would just relax and realize if you dont mob them they will come out in the crowd and hang out...but if you do mob them, they are more like to run and hide when your screaming their name alright (i just had to say it...haha...sorry)

its a good time to be a fan!
this weekend was an exciting one...and anyone who is a harry potter/jets/backstreet boys fan like myself will tell you the same thing...i know none of these has anything to do with the other but it was a great weekend for all 3!...
lets start off with harry potter (*said in brittish accent*)...friday was the official opening day of harry potter and the deathly hallows part 1...(or hp7a as i like to call it...haha!)...obvi i went to see it friday...i would have gone thursday at midnight but unfortunately someone has to be responsible and go to work...so that option was out...instead i went with cool girl after work...oh.my.god...sooo freakin good!!!...i loved it so much that i saw it again on saturday night!!!....i dont really want to say to much in case you havent seen it yet...but trust me when i say this is a DO NOT MISS!!!!...the only complaint that i have is that it ended...haha!...it was 2.5 hours but i didnt think it felt that long...and then it cuts you off right when the story is going to get really good!...i know this because i read the books...*gasp* i know! i read the books? how could that be???...haha!!!...anyway i cant wait until hp7b comes out...its going to be amazing!!! =)
sunday afternoon i went to the jets game...J! E! T! S! JETS! JETS! JETS! WOOOOO!!!!!! they played the Houston texans...and wow! what a game!...they had a huge lead going into the 4th quarter and then in typical jet fashion they blew it and Houston went up...the only way we could win was with a touchdown...too bad there was less than 2 minutes left...not impossible but it was improbable...so in typical jet fan fashion the stadium emptied out...less than half the fans were still there...of course i stayed...my grandfather taught me never to leave a game early cause you never know what could happen...and boy was i glad that i stayed!!!...sanchez threw a bomb down the field to a wide open edwards...everyone went wild!!! it was another jets FIRST DOWN!!!...so then there was 16 seconds left, 1st and goal, with the ball on the 6...sanchez threw another great pass to santonio holmes right into the end zone....TOUCHDOWN JETS!!!! i thought the people went wild before...no i was wrong...this is when they went really wild!!! ahhhh!!! im not even sure i can express in words the level of excitement going on in that stadium and that moment...it was just crazy!!!
now the jets are 8 and 2...can you believe it?? 8 and 2???...its been a LONG time since the jets have had a season like this one...there arent any that i can remember clearly...its just a really fun time to be a loyal jets fan...if you stick with them long enough they are bound to surprise everyone with an awesome season!!!...im so proud of them!!!
as if that game wasnt enough excitement for one person to handle i came home to watch the american music awards...my backstreet boys closed the show with new kids on the block...hands down the BEST performance of the night!!!...if you didnt see it go to YouTube right now and watch it!!!...the who thing was perfect...i loved everything...from the opening mash up of everybody and hangin tough...to the old school clips in the background during i want it that way...to the proof they were really singing during step by step...to the awesome dance break...to the classic right stuff dance...to "all you people cant you see cant you see n - k - o - t - B - S - B!"...yeah just perfect!!!...i am sooo pumped for the nkotBSB tour next summer...i already have tickets to one show...but im def gonna need more!!!

the official soundtrack of the summer of ten
thats right folks i have created an official soundtrack to the summer of ten!...i know that you are all yelling at the screen saying "but ashley, its practically winter...what are you doing still talking about the summer???"...well the answer to that is a simple one...i am a procrastinator...haha!!!...durring the summer k dubbs and i decided we would create a cd with all of our summer songs on it...so this way we could listen to it and remember the awesome summer we had!!...so every time we came up with a song we would put it on the list...having a list was great...too bad it took me 2 months to put the list onto an actual cd for listening enjoyment...i finally have it and it totally brings back memories from the summer...goal accomplished!...
so without further ado i bring you the track list (along with a little blerb) to the official soundtrack of the summer of ten!!!
1) taio cruz ~> dynamite ~> the first time i heard this song was at my friends wedding in july...k dubbs was with me and she said "how about this sound for our cd?"...i said i never heard it before...next thing i knew it was all over the place...LOVE IT!!!...so i went back to k dubbs and told her its def going on!!!
2) jason derulo ~> in my head~> this song doesnt really have a story we just like it!...haha!
3) backstreet boys~> bigger~>i took k dubbs to her first backstreet concert this summer...so its only natural that a song from their newest album made the list!
4)dj otzi ~> hey baby~> ob1 offered free zumba classes...we went to them on a weekly basis...this was our fav song from class...if you dont know it download it...i promise you'll love it!!!
5)big time rush~> halfway there~> thanks to my litttle bff i became completely obsessed with btr...turns out k dubbs loved them too...haha...so of course they made the cut!
6) diamonds on my neck~> okay so i have no idea who sings this of if thats really what its called...but its one of those fun songs that you blast in the car and have tons of funs with
7) shontelle~> impossible~> no story relating to my adventures with k dubbs but i did dance to this song in my makeshift dance class
8) the script~> breakeven~> no story...just like it! =)
9) mike posner~> cooler than me~> same as above
10) michael buble~> havent met you yet~> love this song...gives me hope
11) b.o.b ~> airplanes ~>okay so im not crazy about this song but k dubbs likes it AND it has a good story...during the summer i like to sit outside and look at the stars...so i have seen many shooting stars over the years...but people would always say to me "are you sure its a shooting star and not an airplane?"...of course im sure!!!...anyway...this is why i find the chorus of this song to be so awesome

13) selena gomez~> naturally~> this song doesnt really remind me of the summer...it reminds me of the spring...one of the nights i hung out with concert guy and co. we were on our way home...this song came on the radio...we turned it up super loud and everyone sung along...good times!...
14) backstreet boys~> panic~> this song makes the list because of its name...when we were in disney for my bday my little bff said to me on one of the rides "its dark...dont panic ashley"...it was one of the top quotes from the trip and we used it all summer...dont panic!
15) usher~> dj got us fallin in love~> this song wasnt even on the list...i just added it cause i still had space...and i love it!!!...haha!!!
16) miranda~> vamos a la playa~> as you know the world cup we this summer...the mayor was obsessed with spain...so every time they had a game the mayor would play this song to get into the spanish spirit i guess...i really could care less about soccer but the do think that this is a super fun song!!!
17) michael franti ~> say hey (i love you)~> this is just a happy feel good song...makes me smile!
18) 3oh!3 ~> my first kiss~> this song reminds me of kent on sytycd...i think its a fun song...so why not put it on...right?!
19) shots! ~> no idea who sings this...maybe its lmfao...i dont know...but who really cares...if you went to any sort of club or party or somethin this summer im sure you heard it...i dont even take shots and i love this song...it just gets you pumped and ready to go!!!
