nothing's ever easy

As i mentioned earlier the morning of my cousins wedding i went to get my hair done...just the standard highlights and trim that i normally get...but why should i have expected things to be standard?!

Everything started off okay...i got caped up and my hair dresser loaded my hair with foils...and then i sat for a little bit while my hair was cooking...just before the timer went off much louder ringing started...it was a fire alarm!!!...at first everyone thought it was just a drill...but no...it was a real fire and the building needed to be evacuated...whaaaatt?!?

So i grabbed my bag and headed for the door...yep, foils and cape still in tact i ventured outside...haha!...something to note about the location of my salon...its inside a big gym...so there was probably about 100 other people standing outside...all of them staring at the crazy girl with foils in her hair...good thing i dont embarrass easily!!!

After we got outside all the people at the salon started to panic a little bit...they had to get the bleach out of my hair before any damage was done...so they found a hose...yeah, thats right a garden hose...so they pulled all the foils out, i bent over and they hosed me down...well just my hair but still...it was pretty funny....haha!!!

I think most people would have been mortified at this point...but like i said i dont embarrass easily...i just couldnt get over how funny it was...i was i had pictures of the event to show you but i didnt take any...it would have made this short story so much better!!!

Big Time Skype Call

I WON A SKYPE CALL WITH BIG TIME RUSH!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Two weeks ago btr tweeted something along the lines of this is your last chance to tell us how youre celebrating windows down...so i replied i celebrated by writing a blog post about you, check it out here...then i sent an email to some of my friends kindly asking for a retweet...i said hey guys i know im not gonna win but can you do me a favor and retweet me...it would still be cool if they saw it...they all complied and that was that...i didnt really think about it too much the rest of the day...cause i really didnt think i would win...

It was another busy day at work so i left late...missed my normal train...and had to run for the next one...which is a super local so im not really a fan of it...my mood was decreasing rapidly when i got on the train only to find there were a bunch of hot cars (broken ac)...so the cool cars were extra crowded and i didnt get a seat...i found a spot to stand and grabbed my phone to text little sis...thats when i saw the little twitter bird and saw "whats your skype name?" scroll across the top...i gasped and my heart dropped...omg!...was that it?!...did i win?!?...i tried to open twitter but there was no service in the tunnel...i almost went into a panic...i needed to know...i was expecting to see a message from some random person and then feel silly for freaking out for no reason...but when twitter finally did open there it was...a direct message from big time rush telling me that i won!!!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!....i started shaking...i couldnt believe this was happening...my next step was to actually get a skype account (haha!) And send them my user name...

The call was originally scheduled for 1pm on friday...of course i couldnt sleep at all Thursday night...and when i got to work on friday i found it extremely difficult to concentrate...sometime during the morning i got another message saying they had to reschedule...i felt like that was the first time i was able to breathe properly all day...haha...i was thinking they were gonna put it on a different day all together...so i relaxed some...then later in the afternoon i got another message saying 6pm...not ideal but i figured i could just stay at work late and then get to the lmfao concert i was supposed to go to a little late...nbd...but the panic started again...in just a few short hours i was gonna be talking to big time rush...omg!...haha!...then i got yet another message saying they meant 6pm pacific time...9pm east coast time...oh no! the concert!..it was decision time...i thought about it for all of 5 seconds and decided that i would miss the concert so i could go home and be ready for my big time skype call!!!

I set up little sis' laptop in the dinning room (the only place in the house that my mom would allow us to go) and patiently waited for their call...the whole time i was waiting for something to pop up and say oh this is all a joke but that didnt happen...they signed on to skype at 9:01...they called me at 9:11...LONGEST 10 MINUTES OF MY LIFE!!!!...haha!...they are all right there waving to me saying hi...i couldnt believe what was happening!...they started things off with a dance party!!!...it was a little tough to join in because we were in the dinning room...but i did my best sitting down dance moves!...haha!...i thought that was a great way to start things off because it kinda loosened me up...dancing is fun!...it def relaxed me!...

After the dance party we started chit chatting away...james was in front of the camera talking and asking us questions...it was great...he asked if we were going to the show...we said of course we are, we're going to 4!!! (Please note that i have added 2 since then...haha!)...we listed the places...he said a little ridiculous but i approve!...haha!...then are said so what else is going on...i said i was working all day...so we talked about that for a little bit...carlos came running over all excited...then carlos asked how old we are...27 and 23...again carlos was very excited about this answer!...i believe his exact words were "YESSSS! I like it i like it!"...at this point kendall and logan came over and were like wait how old are they?!...i think they appreciate the cougars!...haha!!!

Next james asked if we had any questions...i said omg i have so many questions!...haha!!

Next we got into a discussion about yoshi because yoshi is my guy!...james says yoshi is the coolest looking character but hes not the fastest...i said it doesnt matter cause he has really great acceleration speed so you can jump out in front of the crowd...then they wanted to know which one of their miis i would play as...i said i dont know! what are your speeds like?...logan said mines the fastest...so i said i like fast but does it handle well?...he said yeah yeah its got all that..then james said they made mine the best...it was pretty funny watching them fight over whos was the best...i said i dont know ill have to try them all...i really am torn...i mean how could i not pick kendall but at the same time he didnt fight too hard...and i kinda feel a little bit of loyalty to james...we both like yoshi the best!...haha!

Will there ever be a big time rush cruise?
they all laughed!!...haha!!!...we said come on, it would be so much fun...everyones doing it like new kids and backstreet boys...kendall said so you want us to be followers, just because everyone else is doing it we have to do it too?...we said yeah!...haha!...then they said that there is a nickelodeon cruise so that kinda takes the place of a btr crusie...then we were talking about all the cool things a btr cruise could have...like theme parties and games shows...and then kendall said oh we could have a dating game!!..we said YESS!!!...we also mentioned that we would get an awesome cabin and be front row for everything!!...at some point they also mentioned that big time cruise would be a great episode!!...so if that happens in the future, you're welcome!!

will there be dancers on your tour?
they said yeah, us!...you're lookin at 'em!...then kendall said i want to ask you a question...he said how do the fans feel about dancers? will they get mad if theres four girls grinding up on us?...i said i personally like it, ive been a dancer my whole life so i appreciate dancers...but there are a lot of girls do not like it...they get mad and are like ewww get those firls off the stage!!!...i said it really depends on the fan...they said thank you!...they really seemed to take into consideration what i was saying and it seemed like they really appreciated my opinion!...

if they won a skype call like this one who would they want it to be with?
kendall said like a euro dj...no one specific...just any euro dj...he thinks that its so cool that they play beats in front of huge crowds at clubs every night...he said it would be cool to talk to one of them...
logan said this comedian paul rudd, you probably dont know him...i said please, of course i do!!...he was pheobes husband on friends and he was in i love you man and hes sooo funny...i love him!!...so logan was like whoa, threw him arms up and walked away...but he came back dont worry...haha!!!...im not sure why he was shocked...i mean how can i not know who paul rudd is?!?...

next it was time for our goodbyes...boo!!!...kendall asked us again which shows we are going to...we told him and said make sure you remember our faces...we will be there with our cougar rusher shirts on!!..haha!!...he told us to make sure we look for ranel (their bodyguard)...he seemed very adamant about it...so you best believe i will be on the hunt for him!!...i wonder what will happen if i find him...oh the possibilities running through my mind are endless...haha!!...

then they all blew us kissed and said good bye to us...the call lasted 11 minutes and 47 seconds...and it was AMAZING!!!...i still cant believe it happened...and i dont think thats a sentence i will ever stop saying...

Hey there!!!

this past weekend was an eventful one so i have lots to post about...i know that i could just write the blogs and youll see them when you see them...but there was just so much stuff that happened and im not really sure where to start...i typically like to go in chronological order...so thats probably what gonna happen...you non boy band lovers will just have to bear with me for one more post...then ill be back to real life...haha!

First up will be a post about my big time skype call!!!!...ahhhhh!!!!!....i actually won...can you believe it?!...my little blog won me a prize...maybe now i can call myself an award winning blog writer...haha!

Next up will be the oh so exciting story of getting my hair done saturday morning...it doesnt sound very exciting, i know...but trust me...it was quite comical!...

And then i'll be writing all about my cousin's wedding!!!...she married her high school sweetheart...love him!!! ,3...they are an amazing couple and i couldnt be happier for them!...

My last order of business is to give a shout out to dead sexy!!!...i heard that even though he moved to a far away land called texas, hes still a loyal reader...thanks!!!!...i miss you and im glad youre still reading even through all my craziness!!...haha!...but if you want a shout out in the future maybe should leave a comment or two so i know youre still here!!!!...haha! ;-)
