obsession

i have noticed that i become addicted to things pretty easily (not bad things...no worries)...it could be a tv show or a book or a game or even blogging...i find myself trying to squeeze in every possible second to satisfy ny need to do whatever it is im obsessing over at the moment...and then after a while i start to lose interest...lets take a look at some of these things...

blogging~> last year around october novemberish i was blogging almost everyday...how was it possible that i had so much to say?...i probably didnt have anything interesting to write...i just put down anything so i could say i blogged for the day...i was obsessed so i did it...i had to...but now i kinda just write when something comes to me...i dont try to find stuff to talk about...its just what comes out...

games~> these addictions dont last as long as some of my other ones but if i find a game i really like i feel like i constantly need to play it...i started playing bejewled blitz on facebook and loved it...i even downloaded it to my ipod so i could play it on the train...so i pretty much play it all the time...i think im almost over it but not yet...there have been many games like this over the years...

tv shows on dvd~> if i start watching a series on dvd thats all ill watch...all my other shows fall by the waste side...there have been times that i have stayed up way later than i should have because ill say oh ill just watch one more episode...and then 3 episodes later im still saying just 1 more...when i was a senior in college i watched all 10 seasons of friends in about a week over my winter break...thats crazy!...i mean really...who does that?!?...right now i am obsessed with survivor!...right after last season was over it was on sale on i tunes so i bought it...i never really got around to watching it but then the other day i decided hey why dont i watch some of this again...of course i couldnt stop until the season was over...(yay jt!...he's totally my survivor fobo!)...now i want to buy another season...but i dont know which one...anyone have any suggestions???...

twilight~> last fall i was completley obsessed with twilight...i gave up my morning nap to read...i couldnt wait to get out of work just so i could continue reading...and then the movie was coming out and i need to know everything there was to know about it...i absolutely LOVED all things twilight related...i even blogged about it every tuesday...then after all the hype died down i kinda forgot about it...of course i went to see new moon on opening day this year but i wasnt nearly as excited for it...so of course im still a fan of the whole twilight saga but im not going crazy about it anymore...

backstreet boys~> this is my longest lasting obsession...of course its more intense at times than others but i think its the one obsession i will never get rid of...ive been a fan since 7th grade what can i say...they are my all time fav and ALWAYS will be!!!

bad week in reality tv

it seems to happen every season but unfortunalty this was the week that all of my favs were sent packin...=(...it all started with last weeks survivor samoa...lets take a look back shall we...

upset #1~> survivor samoa~> i had a hard time picking a fav this season cause lets face it no one can compare to jt from last season (rumor has it that hes gonna be on next season villian vs heroes)...anyway after a few episodes erik started to grow on me and became my fave...things were looking good for him...her found an immunity idol...he had a tight alliance of 4...he was strong and smart...and he seemed to be leading the group...buddytv ranked him number 1 going into the episode...then all of a sudden there was a merge and everyone decided to blindside poor erik...i guess ill now root for brett...

upset#2~> dwts~> can someone please explaain to me why kelly osbourne is still in but aaron carter got voted out on tuesday night...she had 1 good week and then it was all downhill from there so is terrible...why is she still in???...aaron was so good!...i think some of the judges (carrie ann) were way too tough on him...and why did veiwers not like him so much...i just dont get it...aaron should still be in the competition...i am so over this show...unless kevin richardson shows up on the roster for next season i dont think i will be tuning in...

upset#3 ~> sytycd~> first of all this is not the best season yet...and i think it cane on way to soon after season 5...they are trying way too hard be great for the fall but in doing so they are losing everything that makes this show great...so after saying that i think it was a big mistake sending peter home last night...while i think jakob is by far the best this season, peter was totally my favorite!...also i think he had the best solo of the night (very smart tapping a capella)...what was so great about ryan's or kevin's solo that kept them there over peter? huh?...i was actually a little embarrassed for ryan when he attempted that back flip...it was just awful...and another thing that gets me fired up is that people are all kinds of upset that karen and kevin were in the bottom...i didnt think their dance was that awesome...i thought it was a little boring...not as bad as nathan and mollee...oh god...that salsa was horrend!...they def should have been in the bottom...so anyway...im really upset about peter...i really hope s6 turns out like s4...its quickly headed down that road...oh boy...

hopefully this week turns out better than the past week...it all starts with survivor tonight...

my pick is JT...and unless the other 3 are smart enough to vote him out at the next tribal i def think he is going to win

i heart jt

no not that one silly (he makes me gag...ugh)...im talking about jt on survivor tocantins...duh...i was a matty fan last season but he doesnt even come close to jt in my eyes...i need to find him and marry him...lol...

the awesome thing about survivor is that you get to see what a person is truely like...its not like an actor and all you know is what their character is like and you can only guess what they would be like in real life...on survivor you see everything...most of the time it isnt pretty (take coach for instance...the man has a one way ticket on the crazymobile)...after watching about half a season it seems to me that jt is a genuine good person...i have yet to see a bad quality with him...and to top it off i usually find really strong southern accents annoying but i LOVE it on jt...the boy can do no wrong...

so yeah i hope old timbira continues to self destruct and jt continues on right into the finals...and then wins!...

alright enough about my latest tv crush...haha...have a splendid evening everyone!...

BOB!!!

of course i wanted matty to win and he would have too if sugar didnt throw him under the bus by writting down his name at tribal council forcing the tie knowing he would never be able to beat bob in a fire making challange...

but since matty came in 4th place and was the last member of the jury i had to pick someone else for the win...and theres no doubt that bob is the rightful winner...the man went on a crazy winning streak winning 5 challanges in a row!...so yay for bob!

in other news i was mia since last wednesday becuase on thursday i went to see wintuk (those people did some crazy stunts!) on friday i went to jingle ball (the show was good...kanye west was on alittle too long but other than that everyone was amazing!) on saturday i went with my dad to get our christmas tree then we went dts then i worked on my last super top secret project (i'll post pics of all super top secret projects after christmas) and then on sunday i went to squishes little birthday party!...i cant beleive he is 2 already!...so yeah thats about alltill next time...

survivor thursday

i have tons of things to do tonight...well not tons but enough...i have to make t-shirts to wear to the backstreet concert saturday...and i have to pack for my trip...and i have to watch the hotties of thursday night...and i should call britt to finalize our plans for tomorrow night (twilight yay!!!)...and i'm sure i'll think of something else i must do...but i'll move on for now...

so lets talk about SURVIVOR...there are 8 survivors left and i would say that its pretty much anyones game at this point...i def think randy is going home tonight...so it could be anyone's game but his...the guy is crazy...he reminds me of the creature from work...not as gross but def just as crazy...the previews show him excited that he has bob's imunity idol...too bad bob made it so its not real...haha...i'm gonna laugh if he tries to play it at tribal council...hey at least its more believable as an idol than the stick ozzy carved a face into last season...but yeah i'll be surprised if its not randy going home tonight...

now lets talk some strategy for my boy matty to win this thing...i'm not sure if hes smart enough to pull this off but this is what i feel is his path to $1 million...this week he needs to stick with the kenny/crystal/susie allience and vote out randy...then next week he needs to make a tighter allience with sugar and they need to break away from the kenny allience and vote with corrine and bob against their old allience to get crystal and susie out...then pull kenny back in with them to vote out corinne and bob...that would leave a final 3 of matty sugar and kenny...the jurry wont vote for sugar to win becuase no one likes her...most of them wont vote for kenny to win because he was the mastermind in picking off the onion allience one by one...so that leaves matty as the winner!...i'm sure things wont work out that way but hey you never know...

happy twilight week!!!

**omg...i just wrote sooo much and i held down the clr button for a second too long and lost it all...grrr...stupid new fancy phone...okay so let me try again...**

before we get into the amazingness that is twilight in celebration of twilight week let me recap the events of last week

SURVIVOR: so there was a merge and matty is safe...yay!...charlie got voted out at tribal council this week...its a shame he had to be the one to go cause i didnt really mind him...he was a nice guy...but he was in the other alliance so i had to be one of them...randy has got to go next he is one annoying guy

THE CW: so the jets won!...it was close though...they won in overtime...so no salt was poured in my wound but it was held over them ready to go at any second...lol...also SMALLVILLE and SUPERNATURAL were shown on saturday night...good thing too because lots of important things happened in these episodes...**spoilers ahead**...if i didnt know the events leading up to Chloe not knowing clarks secret anymore i would have been lost...thats a huge event and i must say that i'm a little sad about it...and on supernatural we found out what happened to sam when dean was dead...and why he trusts ruby so much

ALTER BOYZ: omg so funny!!!...if you get offended easily i would not recommend this but if you like to laugh and realize that the jokes are all in good fun then you should def go see this show!!!...i loved it!!!...and omg Neil...at one point he was right in front of me singing to me...i think i stopped breathing for that moment...haha...who knew the boy could sing...so yeah very funny go see it!

ROLE MODELS: i know i didnt say that i was going to see this but i did so here is a quick review...this movie was very funny...again if you like a good laugh you should go see it...but its rated R so leave the kiddies at home...and dont forget your id...cause if you're 23 but look 12 like i do then you might just get carded...thats right i got carded at the movie theater...haha!....it case you dont know what this movie is about you're in luck cause im gonna tell you...so these 2 guys (paul rudd and sean william scott) get into some trouble and are sentenced to do community service at a big brother type program...they each get a kid...one is a geeky teen and the other a trouble maker 10 year old...and the crazy antics ensue from there...i was laughing so hard tears were coming out...so go see it!

TWILIGHT!!!!....the movie comes out on friday and i couldnt be more excited!!! i fell in love with this story...britt suggested that i read it so i took her advice and from the moment i read the first page until when i finished breaking down i put my life on hold to read...i just could not put it down...the story pulled me in and wouldnt let me go...i couldnt wait to get out of work so i could read...i even cancelled my daily morning nap on the train to read...thats huge for me...lol...its such a great love story with some super cool vampire stuff thrown in...i just love it!!! i'll admit it i'm in love with a fictional character...so now all i need is for a real life edward to come along and sweep me off my feet..but to be honest even though i love edward in twilight i think in real life i would be more compatible with someone like emmett...

i think that will be it for now...i have a whole week to talk about twilight so i'll save some for another day...ttfn!!

stupid patriots

okay so i'm a tv junkie...2 of my fav shows are smallville and supernatural...both of which come on the cw on thursday nights...i should be excited for the 2 brand new episodes that are coming on tonight...right?...WRONG!!!...the cw11 decided to put on the jets patriots game instead...when did the cw start showing football???...so now i'm stuck with the football game when the rest of the country is able to enjoy the super hotties of thursday night...how is that fair?...it's not!...so there are 2 things i have to say about this...first the cw better be planning on showing these episodes...and b) the jets better win tonight...if the patriots win it will be like pouring salt in my wounds...lol..grrrr...why must they do this to me???...

at least i have other programing to look foward to tonight...survivor is on at 8...i hope that there is a merge but if that doesnt happen fang needs to win immunity or else my boy matty is in trouble...the old kota members will get rid of him so fast its not even funny...he is my fav so i hope he manages to stick around longer...but this season weak players are picking off the strong ones one by one...so we will just have to wait and see...

also on tonight is the return of dr mark greene to the er!!!...i cant wait!!!...the episode that he died was the first time i ever cried over a tv show...it was so sad...so it will be good to see him back in action in tonights flashback episode...

where has the time gone???

i feel like every time i blink another month goes by...time seems to be moving faster and faster...it feels like i just wrote a blog a few weeks ago...but no it was almost 3 months ago...i dont understand...its not like my life is oh so exciting that i cant find a few minutes to write in my sad little blog that i'm pretty sure only cait reads...lol...((thanks cait!!!))...

so yeah i just cant comprehend how it is november already!!!...hopefully i wont let time slip away again before my next blog..and i promise to put something interesting in it...well i can try at least... =)...maybe i'll go back to reviewing the shows i watch so then i feel like i have to blog and i wont be mia for too long...its too late in the season for the amazing race (TAR) and dancing with the stars (DWTS)...but maybe i'll start sharing my survivor thoughts...we shall see....oh and of course i'm going to need to talk about twilight soon because i am completely obsessed right now...only 9 days left until the movie comes out...yay!!!!
